Solving Really Hard Puzzles
MGWCC 140: There’s More To This Tale

Another MGWCC entry.  It was a pretty good solve and a straightforward meta (though paying attention to the title would have helped it seem less sort of arbitrary.)  It took me about 19 minutes total. The puzzle is at http://crosswordcontest.blogspot.com/2011/02/mgwcc-140-friday-february-4th-2011.html and my solving log is after the cut.

I’m getting back on to the pure “Aha” puzzle track very soon. I have Dan Katz’s minihunts (http://web.mit.edu/thedan/www/minihunts.html) available. I’ll definitely be blogging the 2011 version, so solve now and we can compare notes.  If you missed my posts from last year’s, they’re here and here.
